- Sensitization to the practitioners (both government and non-government structures and field level for integration of components of risk and emergency response management into normal development and disaster management programmes;
- Developing the capacity of the communities to live with disasters, instill a sense of confidence and pride within them to utilize own resources as well as emergency and other development assistance effectively.
